I’ve been eager to share this testimony for a while, but something held me back. My testimonies are numerous, but I’ll keep it concise.

Firstly, I want to thank God for bringing me back to the faith. He did it himself. I used to be a faithful Christian, battling with sin but never ceasing to serve and worship God. My father raised us in the ways of the Lord, trusting God for every provision. However, despite investments in farming, our financial situation worsened, and we often struggled to meet basic needs. The deteriorating Nigerian economy led me to join friends in working with an app that required revealing our bodies – kind of online prostitution. While the pay was good, I justified it by sending money home, pretending it was my salary from a pharmacy. Over time, I stopped attending church, my heart hardened, and I lost touch with God, engrossed in worldly activities and even resorting to self-destructive behaviors.

To cut the story short, nightly fears compelled me to pray,so when I do I consistently ask God not to give up on me. After facing challenges with a paper post-exams, I returned to school. God began drawing me back, prompting me to quit the compromising app. Worried about sustenance and finances, I questioned where I would eat, rent, or pay school fees. However, God reassured me, instructing me to write for income. I started on Amazon KDP, although I haven’t received payment to date, but I can feel all things turning around. I resumed attending church, revitalized my prayer life, and fasted for three days into December. On my birthday, December 16th, I prayed and fasted throughout the day. God is working in my life, and I thank Him for not giving up on me. The midnight prayers, especially the Commanding the Day prayers, have significantly improved my prayer life, A heartfelt thank you to you Sir and Ma.

When asked for personal prayer requests, I sought God’s provision of food for my family and myself during this season and transportation back home. The next day, I called to wish my friend Daddy a happy birthday. Upon sharing my situation, he, in his generosity, assured me that my name is favour, so God will favour me, sending more than enough for my transportation.

I want to return all glory to God, believing He will do more and perfect my life and that of my family, delivering us from a hand-to-mouth existence. In Jesus’ name.
