SERVICE OBJECTIVES: Understudying factors that strengthen, boost or enhance our dedication to God
WHAT DEDICATION WILL DO IN THE LIFE OF THE CHILD OF GOD:
1. Dedication is key to distinction in life (Mal. 3:17-18)
2. Dedication is key to additions in life (Matt. 6:33)
3. Dedication is key to preservation of life (Ps. 91:13-14)
4. Dedication is doorway to revelation (1 Cor. 2:9-10)
Whatever we must do to boost, strengthen and enhance our dedication to God, we must do
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. The devil knows the impact of your dedication on the progress of the Kingdom and on your profit in life
2. The devil fights dedication to God because of the damage of dedication to his kingdom
If the devil tampers with your dedication he can tamper with your preservation
FACTORS THAT ASSIST IN STRENGTHENING DEDICATION:
1. The right association (Prov. 13:20; 27:17; Dan. 2:17; Acts 3:1-2; 16:25)
You are not interested in your spiritual life until you are interested in your company
It is better to walk alone than to walk with the wrong association
2. The right covering (Acts 4:13; 1Cor. 4:16; 11:1; Hos. 4:9; Amos 6:1)
Don’t follow blindly; don’t follow anyone to hell!
The spiritual temperature of the people is determined by the spiritual temperature of the priest (Hos. 4:9)
Follow people in motion, don’t follow people who have settled (Amos 6:1)
Don’t ever be quarantined by the mystery of the old prophet; people who are alive but have lost relevance
Don’t surrender your life to too many diverse influences
3. Periodic consecrational fast (Isa. 40:31; 2 Cor. 11:27)
It is for recharging, refiring and refuelling
4. The climate of worship (Ps. 89:15; Rom. 12:1; Eph. 5:18-19; Rom. 5:5)
4i. The climate of worship keeps you in the Presence of God (Ps. 89:15)
4ii. The climate of worship intensifies the consciousness of spiritual things (Rom. 12:1)
4iii. The climate of worship activates the fullness of the Spirit which imparts passion for God (Eph. 5:18-19; Rom. 5:5)
5. The climate of corporate fire (Heb. 10:25; Acts 1:13-14; 2:1)
PRAYERS
Father, I ask for Your grace to move in a fresh dimension of dedication like never before Lord in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I ask for the grace to strictly maintain the right association. Deliver me from the grip of the
wrong association, Lord in Jesus’ Name – Prov. 13:20.
Father, I ask for the impartation of the fire, passion and zeal of my spiritual lineage, Lord in Jesus’ Name – Acts 4:13.
Father, I ask for the grace and discipline for periodic waiting on You, Lord in Jesus’ Name – Isaiah 40:31.
Father, I ask for the robe/garment of worship and praise in 2024, Lord in Jesus’ Name – Psalm 89:15.
